'Scarlet' alert level for southwestern French region

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Monday he was putting the country's southwestern Midi-Pyrenees region on "scarlet" alert, the highest terror level, after the deadly school shootings in Toulouse.

It is the first time the level had been applied since the creation of France's current system of terror alerts -- Vigipirate -- in the 1990s and is the last step before the declaration of a state of emergency.

It gives authorities widespread power to disrupt daily life and implement sweeping security measures.

The move came after a scooter-riding gunman shot dead three children and a teacher at a Jewish school in Toulouse and police said the same gun and scooter had been used in the murders of three French paratroopers in the same area earlier this month.

France had already been on a national "red" terror alert level since the 2005 attacks in London.

The "scarlet" level calls for mixed police-military patrols to be carried out between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Among other measures, it allows for control of access to train lines, restrictions on tunnel traffic, the stopping of civil aviation and the stopping or limitation of water distribution.

Authorities are also allowed to suspend public transport and schooling.

Mystical speculations about the precession of the equinoxes and the Sun's proximity to the center of the Milky Way appeared in Hamlet's Mill (1969) by Giorgio de Santillana and Hertha von Deschend.
These were quoted and expanded upon by Terence and Dennis McKenna in The Invisible Landscape (1975).
The significance of a future "galactic alignment" was noted in 1991 by astrologer Raymond Mardyks, who asserted that the winter solstice would align with the galactic plane in 1998/1999, writing that an event that "only occurs once each 26,000 year cycle and would be most definitely of utmost significance to the top flight ancient astrologers."

Umesto da pucaju na Poljake i Rumune zbog kojih su zaista u problemu.

Verovatno bi i pucao u njih da su ti Poljaci i Rumuni malo više preplanuli, pošto je koliko razumem ovaj jedan upucani belac zapravo ličio na Arapina. Ma, sve je to zbog halal mesa.

Ali u svakom slučaju ovaj spree uopšte nije iznenađujući. Imajući u vidu politiku koju vode prema imigrantima i les autres, i činjenicu da se rasizam sve više blatantno gura u javni prostor, pogotovo sad pred izbore, nije ni čudo što je u ovakvoj klimi društveno prihvatljivog (i osmehnutog) rasizma izmileo i jedan pravednik koji će malo da puca i ispravlja krive Drine.

nema nikakve sumnje da breivik danas heroj mnogim europskim bijelim muskarcima nize srednje klase. s obzirom da nemaju dobre poslove, a uvjereni su da je tako jer su im ih oteli emigranti, medju njima nece biti tesko naci copycats.

uostalom, ovaj u francuskoj je navodno cijeli pokolj snimao kamerom, sto je breivikov savjet.

no, treba reci da breivikovi politicki stavovi nisu nesto pretjerano ekstemni. zapravo su vrlo mainstream, stvari koje se od brojnih politicara odavno mogu cuti.

breivik je samo bio ekstreman u promoviranju svojih stavova. al sigurno nije ni prvi ni jedini koji je za sve probleme europe krivio emigraciju (muslimane), feminizam i marksizam. (zanimljivo, tim glupavim desničarima kapitalizam nikad nije problem )
u osnovi, nema ni neke velike razlike izmedju brreivika i dveri, ciji sturmabteilung naši/obraz obavlja te kvavije zadace.

tačno mogu da zamislim sarkozijev facijalni grč dok se pomalja iz tih višestrukih orgazama. neko bi rekao - too good to be true. for some.

ha? a to? pa kad Srbija i ostale zemlje ex-Yu nauche da ispoljavaju fashizam i "fashizam" barem na europski/evropski/americhki/zapadni nachin, josh bi bio napredak.... kad me vec vuchesh za jezik.

na ozbiljniju notu, nisu npr. bosanskohercegovachki gradjani (Boshnjaci, Hrvati, Srbi koji nisu slushali rkaradzica/smiloshevica/sheshelja/jna.....) se '92-e bili ponashali prema ondashnjoj Srbiji k'o terorista merah prema Francuskoj i Jevrejima, pa da zasluze urbicide, genocide, etnichka chishcenja, aparthejde......

p.s. a nekritichkog amerofila tungija bi bolje bilo malo podsetiti i na nedavnog americhkog masovnog ubicu i teroristu bailes-a koji ubi shesnaestero civila u Afganistanu, pa niko ne kaze da je Amerika stub fashizma.......
