Gejevi i lezbejke su ukras sveta

Beograd (Srbija) – Gej lezbejski info centar (GLIC) za Dan ljudskih prava, 10. decembar, priprema akciju „Gejevi i lezbejke su ukras sveta“.
Ljudska prava LGBT populacije se često ignorišu od državnih institucija, fondacija i nevladinih organizacija za ljudska prava i nevidljiva su u odnosu na ljudska prava nacionalnih i verskih manjina. Zato želimo 10. decembra, na Međunarodni dan ljudskih prava, da povećamo vidljivost LGBT populacije i prava koja ona zaslužuje.
Pozivamo sve korisnike Facebook mreže, MySpace i ostalih društvenih mreža da tog dana umesto svog avatara postave sliku neke poznate LGBT osobe koju cene i poštuju. Gej lezbejski info centar je pripremio 110 slika poznatih LGBT osoba koje su svojim radom i stvaralaštvom obogatili civilizaciju i bez kojih ovaj svet ne bi bio ovakav kakav jeste.
Među njima su mnoge poznate osobe iz Srbija i sveta kao što su: Aleksandar Veliki, Engi Vorhol, Boj Džordž, Dejan Nebrigić, Dragoslav Srejović, Elton Džon, Fredi Merkjuri, Ijan Mekelan, Martina Navratilova, Pedro Almodovar, Samanta Foks, Tenesi Vilijams, Vjeran Miladonović Merlinka i mnogi drugi.
Gays and Lesbians Adorn the World!
Belgrade (Serbia) – Gay & Lesbian Info Centre (GLIC) plans to kick off its “Gays and Lesbians Adorn the World” action for December 10th, Human Rights Day.
LGBT population’s human rights are often ignored by state institutions, foundations and non-governmental organizations devoted to human rights and are invisible compared to ethnic and religious minorities’ human rights. Thus, our desire for December 10th, Human Rights Day, is to increase visibility of both the LGBT population and the rights it deserves.
We invite all users of social networks (Facebook, MySpace, etc.) to post an image of a well-known LGBT person they respect and value as their profile picture on that particular day. Gay & Lesbian Info Centre has prepared 110 images of famous LGBT persons who have enriched civilization with their work and creativity and without whom this world would not be as we know it.
Many famous people from Serbia and abroad are among them, such as: Alexander the Great, Andy Warhol, Boy George, Dejan Nebrigić, Dragoslav Srejović, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Ian McKellen, Martina Navratilova, Pedro Almodovar, Samantha Fox, Tennessee Williams, Vjeran Miladonović Merlinka and many others.
