Pa ne moram da idem na flickr mogu i na google. Nije to poenta. Htela sam da forumasi stave svoje fotke sa prajdova na kojima su bili. Bas kao sto sam i ja ove svoje.

Jesu, da znas. I super su drugarice. Al su opasne po zivot ako ih nesto malo naljutis...
Juce jedan od organizatora (gay man) prilazi i kaze sledece (e sad, da bi slika bila upotpunjena probaj da zamislis mrsuljavog momka koji ima dvadesetak godina i vrlo je fem i drag kvin koja ima dva metra i izgelda da se ukakis spektakularno ali nije fem. Malo podesca na Daphne iz 'Neki to vole vruce' i na celu je prajda, tj kolone. I sad organizator pokusava da kaze kraljici da malo uspori da bi ostatak parade mogao da je prati. I zamisli njega kako visokim C i malo 'pevajuci' na kraju svake recenice (takav je akcenat u Korku) kaze): I can't control the mad bitch. She keeps calling me a faggot...

This year MarriagEquality and LGBT Noise are joining forces for Dublin PRIDE for our Campaign 'Half Measures', to show our anger at the government's introduction of the Civil Partnership legislation which falls far short of introducing equality for same-sex couples. This Campaign all kicks off at Panti Bar on Monday 15th June for 'Make & Do-Do', where you can 'pimp your outfit' for the march. The idea is that you wear half a tux or half a wedding gown to symbolise civil partnership being a half measure! You can then join us behind the MarriagEquality banner in your pimped-up outfit to make your feelings very clear to our government.

Northwest PRIDE - 8 August 2009, Sligo Town
Northwest PRIDE has only been running since 2006, so it is important that we lend our support to our friends in the Sligo/Donegal area. This year MarriagEquality is going to roll in behind the Northwest PRIDE banner, with a banner all our own, promoting marriage for same-sex couples.

The Prides across the country are continuing the theme of anniversaries and Galway PRIDE is no different, celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. Galway PRIDE are also marking the 40th anniversary of Stonewall and MarriagEquality will be there along with them to mark these very important milestones. If you want to help Galway PRIDE mark these anniversaries, along with fighting for your right to marry, then please let us know.

@ smaug, ovde je (ne)zvanichni Pride mesec tj. June. imam lokalne novine Out Pittsburgh i Pride Guide preko kojih se informishem i gledam slike. izgleda da ce glavna povorka iliti parada iliti PrideOnStreet biti 14-og ovog meseca znachi za pet dana.
Inache, ja se josh dvoumim da li da uchestvujem. ne shto se plashim, ovde je to znatno bezbednije nego u istochnoj polovini Evrope da ne govorim o zemljama ex-Yu, vec shto jednostavno mislim da se Pride treba ziveti svaki dan u godini dostojanstveno i principijelno kroz borbu za punu ravnopravnost u svim segmentima drushtva koja ni u Pennsylvania-i nije josh uvek dovrshena, tako da sharenilo i hodanje u paradi mi je od sekundarne vaznosti ukoliko efekat izostaje. odnosno, konkretnije, uchestvovao bih u skupu podrshke za konachno usvajanje state antidiscrimination zakona te priznavanju gej brakova itd..., svega chega josh uvek Pennsylvania nema.

Ajde idi, ako ni zbog cega drugog ono da vidimo fotke.

Razumem skroz. Ali mislim da aktivisti I ‘simpatizeri’ I tu I ovde (a tako je, cini mi se, I u Srbiji) svakoga dana rade i bore se za ‘nasu stvar’, da izvinis na izrazu. Ono jeste da u nekim zemljama ta borba nije dostojanstvena. Al prema svecu I tropar – kakva zemlja takvi I aktivisti. I obrnuto.
Evo gore pomenuti MarriagEquality dela I obavestava o rezultatima. Suptilno su potsetili na odrzavanje lokalnih (istovremeno I EU) izbora prosle nedelje. I jos su poslali dokument u kom su sabrali sve stranke I kandidate I ko sta misli povodom gay and lesbian population I ko je sta kad izjavio I obecao I potpisao. Pa izvolte. GSA je, koliko znam, slican upitnik sa slicnim pitanjima poslala srpskim strankama I politicarima. I rezulati su objavljeni. A salju I mejlove.
Dakle – radi se.

Of course da onda organizacije pozovu na paradu da prebroje ‘pasivnu’ podrsku i/ili da brojem ukazu na velicinu ‘problema’ i/ili da brojem pokazu koliko nas je.
Te onda paradiranje nikako nema sekundarnu vaznost. Vise je primarna B.

Sve se slazem shto kazesh, samo shto ovde to pomalo izgleda kao 'ajde da ulepshamo situaciju i da pokazemo da je Pittsburgh na rangu Boston-a ili NYC-ja ili Philadelphia-e, a nije bash. Dok u tim gradovima (a u sluchaju Boston-a i u drzavama) gej ljudi svakog dana u godini imaju, bar u novije vreme, figurativni Pride ispunjen u smislu izjednachenosti u drushtvu, ovde je ovo vishe ulepshavanje situacije u nekoliko dana jednog meseca tj. ovog, a u ostatku godine sve po prilichno depresivnom starom. No, nadati se je i da ce ova sredina uskoro dostici pravi Northeast.

GLEN Strongly Welcomes Commitment By Minister Dermot Ahern to Early Enactment of Civil Partnership

Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern has stated that “he would soon seek Cabinet approval for the Bill, that will also extend legal rights and protections to same-sex couples in the areas of inheritance, tax and pension entitlements” according to the Sunday Business Post today (Front Page Headline ‘Bill Heralding Civil Unions Set to be Published’).

The commitment in the Programme for Government the Minister said, would be “implemented in full through the forthcoming Civil Partnership Bill which I will publish within weeks”.

“The Bill is expected to go to second stage debate to the Dáil in the Autumn, and will be enacted by the end of the year” according to Sunday Business Post Report

GLEN ~ Gay and Lesbian Equality Network strongly welcomes the reported positive statements of Minister Dermot Ahern and especially his commitment to early introduction and enactment of Civil Partnership.

“This is an historic civil rights reform that will resolve many immediate and pressing issues faced by lesbian and gay couples and the Minister and the Government are to be congratulated on bringing forward this complex and comprehensive legislation and committing to its early enactment” said Kieran Rose, Chair of GLEN.

“This is a human rights reform whose time has come. All political parties have played a role in getting us to this point and there is huge public support for change” said Kieran Rose, Chair of GLEN.

We look forward to a detailed examination of the Bill, and note that the Heads of the Bill, published in June 2008, provided for extensive rights and responsibilities for same-sex couples in a whole range of areas including public registration, home protections, succession, domestic protections, pensions and immigration. At the launch of the GLEN annual report in October 2008, the Minster’s speech stated that “social welfare and tax entitlements and obligations on a par with those of spouses will be provided through the Finance and Social Welfare Bills”

A key concern for GLEN is the issue of legal support and recognition of the many children being parented by same-sex couples. “Inclusion of legal recognition of children being parented by same-sex couples will be critical for the welfare of these children” said Rose..

GLEN fully endorsed the conclusions of the Government’s Working Group on Domestic Partnership (the Colley Group) that access to civil marriage would achieve equality of status with opposite sex couples. GLEN also supported the emphasis of the Colley Group on the need to address immediately the many urgent and pressing needs facing same-sex couples and that this could be delivered through Civil Partnership.
